Equipment designed to comply with regulations on emission limits

Gas Scrubbers are wet purification systems in which the components of an air flow are filtered using water and additives, if necessary.

These devices are custom-designed taking into account the mass flow of the pollutants to be washed, the atmospheric emission limits for each component, and the specific needs of our customers.

Our scrubbers are made entirely of homopolymer polypropylene (PP-H), which offers a high level of chemical resistance to corrosive gases. The scrubber range includes the QH (horizontal position) and QV (vertical position) models. The units are manufactured using precision CNC machines and then assembled by thermofusion welding using the same material.

The purification method is based on the transfer of material from a carrier gas to a liquid through a plastic filler, which increases the contact surface of the two phases and is where the physical-chemical absorption reaction takes place.

In vertical scrubbers, the transfer of material takes place in a countercurrent, while in horizontal scrubbers it involves cross-flow.

Both configurations are highly effective at filtering acid vapors, NOx, SOx, amines, and suspended particles.
